Bergstrom Wines 'Ekollon Experience'
a premiere wine tasting experience in Oregons Dundee Hills.
In Bergstrom Wines Ekollon Experience is featured at the Bergstrom Family Vineyard House. The experience begins with a taste of Champagne while exploring biodynamic practices in their vineyard and garden programs while enjoying views of the valley.
Next, your host will guide you through the Bergstrom Wines story and a tasting of their limited-production estate wines, including a selection of library wines. Each Ekollon experience includes a pairing menu designed by Josh and Caroline Bergstrom featuring seasonal, locally sourced, gourmet bites.
Wednesday's are Sokol Blosser’s ‘Farm & Forage’ Day
A culinary experience created by Sokol Blosser’s Executive Chef, Henry Kibit, that pairs six bites with six of their wines. Chef Henry believes that one of the best ways to enjoy wine is to pair them with carefully crafted bites. Watch the Chef’s magic happen from the kitchen table.
Following their “good to earth” motto, Sokol Blosser source from local purveyors and also forage on their property, often finding mushrooms, nettles, salas greens, and more, to create a culinary experience you won’t forget’
While you enjoy Chef Henry’s creations and great wine your host will present information about the history (5th winery in Oregon), its vineyards, its soil, and what the future holds for Sokol Blosser.
Our Provisions Tasting is a guided culinary experience that will immerse you in the bounty of Mineral Springs Ranch, our biodynamic farm and vineyard located in the heart of Oregon wine country. Seasonal cooking isn’t a fad at MSR, it’s our way of life. Our menu changes weekly and follows the ebb and flow of our farm’s seasons. Our goal is to source 100% of our ingredients from our property, and when that’s not possible, (we obviously need oysters!) we bring in the highest quality items from our neighbors at the coast, or other organic farms in our region. As the tasting of wine is essential to the enjoyment of this experience, bookings are reserved for guests 21 years and up. Dietary restrictions and food allergies are considered with advance notice, however, not all requests may be accommodated. Please contact the winery for availability. Full payment is due upon booking. We may not be able to accommodate groups larger than ten guests.
Join us for a series of dinners celebrating combinatorial creativity.
Our Chef, Timothy Wastell, will be partnering up with fellow food luminaries to cook together, first in their kitchens in Portland, and later, under the oak trees overlooking our vineyard in Amity.
In February, Timothy will be cooking with Chef Kristen Murray at Maurice in Portland.
